Forde Park Care: Nursing and Retirement Homes

Newton Abbot, South Devon

Personal Care Retirement Home
Staff

Brenda Lowe, RGN - Matron / Registered Manager

Brenda has been with us at Forde Park since 1992. Brenda is a qualified nurse with many years of nursing and management experience. Her primary responsibility is to ensure that the care we provide for our residents is second to none. She heads up a large team of care professionals (qualified nurses and health care assistants) and domestic staff.

Nursing Staff

You will find at least one qualified nurse on duty at all times in the Nursing Home. They are assisted in their duties by a team of Health Care Assistants. The nursing staff are the backbone of the organisation; it is they who are most directly responsible for delivering the high quality of care for which Forde park is renowned.

Domestic and Kitchen Staff

Domestic staff have a vital role to play in keeping the home a comfortable and clean place for our residents to live. A small army of cleaners and laundry staff work almost around the lock to ensure that hygiene standards are maintained.

In the kitchen a chef and kitchen assistants are employed to ensure that meals served to our residents are both tasty and nutritious.
