Personal Care Retirement Home
Fire training for our staff

Members of staff from both the Nursing Home and the Retirement Home have recently taken part in the latest fire training session, held by Paul Brown of Firex (www.firetraining.me.uk ).

This is part of our ongoing commitment to ensure staff are fully trained to deal with such an emergency.  Fire training is held every six months for all staff, and every three months for staff who are on night duty.

As part of the last training session in May, the staff had the chance to practice on real fires (in the safety of our carpark and under Paul's watchful eye) with fire extinguishers and fire blankets.
